Welcome to the Clive Fennessy Postcards Section

The postcards are arranged in chronological order, with my earliest design at the top flowing down to my latest design at the bottom of the display.

My first postcard design was given as a gift to the audience attending a talk on my own vintage collection in 1998. Its grown from that time to nearly 120 designs created over the next 28 years. Early on my goal was to find famous ships or interesting views and colourize them in the style of the postcards cards sold and seen on the Isthmus in the first 40 years of Panama Canal operation. Where possible I added context to the actual picture and transit on the reverse of the card. Sorry, a few of the designs are sold out, due to demand, however there is a large raft of work still available. Enjoy the voyage through time !
